The Free University of Bozen-Bolzano and the Laimburg Research Centre are the joint organizing body of the MACROWINE 2025 conference, which will be held at the NOI Techpark of Bolzano (Italy), 24-27 June 2025.
Unibz is engaged in research, teaching and third mission activities internationally and was recently ranked No. 1 among small non-state university according to a national survey (CENSIS, 2023).
Laimburg Research Center is the leading research centre for agriculture in South Tyrol.
Both institutions have been collaborating effectively for 25 years and are committed to developing all aspects of a comprehensive approach to wine quality through collaboration among scientists.
During the Macrowine 2025 Conference, the following traditional themes congress shall be considered:
- Analysis and composition of grapes, wines, wine spirits
- Chemical and biochemical reactions, including grape and wine microorganism’s impact
- Winemaking processes and oenological practices
- Sensory properties: psychophysics, experimental economy, connections with neurosciences
- Vine science and link with grape and wine quality
- Wine, environment, health and sustainability
- Artificial Intelligence in the vine and wine sector
Particular emphasis will be placed on communications related to Macromolecules and Secondary Metabolites of Grape and Wine.
